Subject	how were you recharging the flat battery?

Message	completely draining any battery will do damage... build up on plates, etc. there are a few different ways of recovering so called 'dead' batteries, but when i dischared my blue top to 5 volts and recharged it slowly over several days it came back 100% fine again... I thought I had killed it so had already bought another for my car, now i keep the old one as a jump battery... still holding charge several months after charging...
